🚀 New to GuardDex? Quick Start
GuardDex quietly guards every app on your device — it blocks scam links, fake websites, ads and trackers, and warns you before something risky can hurt you. Mostly it just works in the background. Here's all you need to know:
1See a red warning? That's GuardDex protecting you. Don't tap through it — it caught something dangerous. Green means you're safe to continue.
2Got a suspicious text or email? Open
Scam Check and paste it in. GuardDex tells you in plain words if it's a scam and why.
3Not sure about something? You're never alone — tap Ask my Guardian and a trusted family member gets looped in to help.
Handy places:
- 🖼️ Scam Gallery — browse real scams so you can spot them a mile off.
- 💔 Breach Monitor — check if your email turned up in a data leak.
- 🔧 This page — if an app or site won't load, ask above and I'll tell you why.

⚙️ Setting GuardDex up for a family member? (admin)
- Install the GuardDex app on their phone (APK) and scan the setup QR — the phone is configured in one step.
- Add household members in Breach Monitor and flag a 🛡️ Guardian who should get alerts.
- Add any API keys later in Admin Settings — each shows where to get it. (The installer also walks you through these.)
- Want whole-home protection? Point the router's DNS at a GuardDex DNS Fortress node.
